I'm trying to think of a witty pun and have as yet been unsuccessful so I'll just say good job. I like the big ones of the back of his head and tail. I also think that you should name him "Freddy the Velociraptor".

You're definitely right -I think it looks skinnier than it is because of the way I did the feathers on the back of the neck.

Also, thanks! I was worried that they'd look more like fur but apparently it's ok?

no- for the mostpart they're more featherlike. although even in real life, from enough of a distance, it's hard to tell fur from feathers, nah? you only know it's one or the other 'cos your brain says "that is bird-shaped" or "that is mammal-shaped."

Huzzah! Which leads me to mention that raptors are totally put together the same as chickens. I never realized the full extent of this until I started drawing Freddy here but the definitely are.
